CHAT N CHEW

Chat N Chew is a Texas-based non-profit providing restorative services for single parents victimized by domestic abuse. Chat N Chew is largely successful within their community, but lacked sufficient structure and strategy to expand their mission. Our team was able to provide growth-focused research and analysis in the areas of fundraising, digital platforms, and financial systems.

BALL FOR INC.

Ball For Inc. is an organization committed to fostering positive community engagement by providing basketballs and other sports balls to underprivileged youth across the DFW metroplex. Our team was tasked with developing an end-to-end distribution strategy encompassing everything from donations and metrics to potential partnerships and events.

RESCUE PARTY GIVE

Rescue Party Give is a non-profit organization that works to educate people from all age groups on the dangers of human trafficking and what prevention steps they can take for themselves and their peers. Our team was brought in to help streamline their social media strategy and increase engagement and awareness of the organization.

 

WILKINSON CENTER

The Wilkinson Center is a Dallas-based non-profit providing services to address food insecurity, educational deficits, and employment challenges, aiding families in achieving self-sufficiency. Our team was brought in to help address challenges related to increasing corporate volunteer engagement, building long-term partnerships, engaging with local partners, and addressing post-COVID-19 challenges.

UNITED WAY OF LOWNDES AND NOXUBEE

United Way of Lowndes and Noxubee is a non-profit based in Mississippi that is geared towards providing funding to local non profits across three different service verticals: education, health, and financial stability. In response to these issues, our team was able to develop a new data collection process, advise UWLN to switch website providers, and provide them with a new website that better conveyed various KPI’s to represent UWLN’s impact to potential donors.

THE NORTH TEXAS FOOD BANK

The North Texas Food Bank (NTFB) is a non-profit organization that distributes food through multiple partner agencies in 13 counties throughout North Texas. Our team was brought in to help streamline their implementation of problem-resolution software and increase user buy-in through a deep dive into data analytics and trends.

SALAM LADC

Salam LADC (Salam) is a NGO that works in Lebanon to strengthen cooperation between the different communities in the area through education and aids in providing services to vulnerable people. The objective of this project was to provide Salam with a centralized platform to provide information to potential donors and members about what they do and how to help. Our team was able to come in and assist with website/social media optimization, fundraising strategies, and a clear organizational identity.

VERA AQUA VERA VITA

Vera Aqua Vera Vita (Vera) works to implement water distribution, collection, and sanitation systems in impoverished countries. With a large amount of work to do and a constant flow of new members, our team was able to work with them to create a detailed step-by-step manual to assist with onboarding and the day-to-day tasks of these volunteers. This will lead to greater efficiency with supervisors no longer having to spend the majority of their time training new volunteers.

PLANET HAPPINESS

Planet Happiness is an organization that uses data and surveys to measure the impact of tourism on the well being of those living at popular destinations. With the assistance of our team, they are now able to see the results of their survey data directly in a clear dashboard along with a clear impact analysis of the work that they are doing. This will allow them to tailor their efforts to best support the mission at hand.

 

SPRING 2022 Project Spotlights

LUMIN EDUCATION

The mission of Lumin Education is to transform education by creating learning environments to inspire children from diverse cultural and economic backgrounds. 180 DC was enlisted to create new marketing strategies as well as create financial & diversity data trackers.

Rewilding Portugal

Rewilding Portugal is a nature conservation based in Portugal whose main focus is to create sustainable futures for both wildlife and humans. During this project, our team's main goal was to help evaluate their current communication strategy and create a sustainable revenue model.

Noorishment

Noorishment is a Dallas-based nonprofit that was created with the intent of producing long term impact to underprivileged communities in the Dallas area and abroad. Our team worked on creating a business syllabus for the organization to follow.

Visible Unity

Visible Unity aims to transform the minds of diverse individuals through programs and events that facilitate cross-cultural understanding and interaction. 180 DC was recruited to optimize their diversity content and marketing strategy to appeal to a younger audience.

 

FALL 2021 Project Spotlights

Child poverty action lab

Child Poverty Action Lab focuses on decreasing child poverty by half in Dallas over the next generation through capturing and analyzing data. Our team identified target communities for CPAL by conducting thorough research into key indicators of at-risk zip codes.

Inclusive communities project

The Inclusive Communities Project works to create and maintain inclusive communities, expand affordable housing for low income families, and remedy practices that perpetuate the harmful effects of discrimination. Our team tackled solving issues around website accessibility, limited features, and general functionality.

PCOS Challenge

PCOS Challenge: The National Polycystic Ovary Syndrome Association works to increase awareness of PCOS to support and advocate for people with polycystic ovary syndrome. 180DC was recruited to help the organization augment their marketing strategy and create impactful messaging to engage their 55,000 global member audience. 

CardBoard Project

The CARDBoard Project leverages technology to connect the digitally disconnected to opportunities, services and access to global information to overcome the digital divide within underserved communities. Our team was tasked with conducting market analysis, creating a sustainable revenue model, and maximizing operational efficiency.

North texas food bank

The North Texas Food Bank is a hunger relief organization that distributes donated and purchased foods to reduce food insecurity in North Texas. Our team mined past client data, conducted survey analysis, and identified key performance indicators to help strengthen the organization's performance.

Café Momentum

Café Momentum is a restaurant and 12 month post-release training facility for juveniles aged 15 to 20. The organization employs at-risk youth and simultaneously trains them as to how to work in various restaurant functions. 180DC was retained to help increase website traction as well as promote the organization's retail product chain to the general public.

BE THE MATCH

Be The Match is an organization operated by the National Marrow Donor Program that operates with the goal of increasing bone marrow and stem cell donations in the United States. 180DC was engaged to assist in promoting outreach and engagement amongst college students and working professionals, as well as help promote donor registration.

Bodhi Health Education is a professional learning and development platforms for the healthcare industry, providing quality, scalable training to healthcare workers. Our team worked to improve Bodhi Health's organizational structure and marketing methods. Our goal was to help with a capital raise strategy comprised of grants and private funding sources.

Vogel Alcove works with hundreds of children and families experiencing housing insecurity, providing them food, shelter, and community when they need it most. Our team developed a virtual program and built a corporate advertising program to help Vogel Alcove still hold their keystone fundraising event and raise money to help families across the DFW metroplex.

The YMCA of Metropolitan Dallas, established in 1885, emphasizes programs that build healthy spirit, mind, and body for all. Our team found ways to optimize the steps of the YMCA customer's digital journey in order to increase our client’s online donations.

Geomet is a metals recycling company based in Dallas with a mission focused on sustainability. The team worked on improving one of Geomet's business segments through both increasing reach and efficiency of marketing efforts as well as optimizing current business processes.

ERIC (Early Recognition is Critical) teaches youth about cancer symptoms through ultimate frisbee training camps. The team found ways to improve outreach and fundraising strategies as well as creating a stronger brand identity.

LITTLE ELM ISD

The Little Elm Independent School District (LEISD) Education Foundation hosts an annual gala to recognize students and teachers and award grants. The team worked to help LEISD acquire more corporate sponsors in order to increase grants; they also worked to increase ticket sales and garner more attention towards the gala.

Dallas Hope Charities

DHC is a local nonprofit which provides meals and shelter to marginalized individuals with a special openness to the LGBTQ community. Our members worked on defining processes and strategies to help DHC ensure that the rapid growth they have seen can be made stable to allow them to continue expanding. Specifically, the team worked on structuring DHC‘s approach to corporate fundraising to streamline workloads and boost effectiveness.

Salvation Army

In Fall 2019, we had the opportunity to work with the largest salvation army branch in the US, which is here in North Texas. Our team worked to provide a more affordable web hosting option with custom content and multi-user access to allow the organization to have more flexibility for its local operations. Our team collected and analyzed data to measure traffic growth and prepared a suite of videos to help Salvation Army users become acclimated to editing the new website. With this project, the team was able to reduce the organizations website cost by 90%, saving the organization thousands of dollars.

EarthX

Earth X is an international nonprofit environmental forum that hosts an annual convention with an attendance of 175,000 people. Our project team worked on improving the organization’s sponsored fulfillment process by employing Lean Six Sigma-inspired methodologies. Our team also worked on setting up robust processes to streamline intra-organizational communication and communication between EarthX and their clients.

Camp Kesem

In Spring 2019, our student consultants worked with the local Camp Kesem branch to improve fundraising strategies. Camp Kesem is an organization that hosts a free summer camp for kids whose parents have cancer as a way to give these kids a sense of normalcy and relaxation.
